Suffolk Water Park will be closed from 5pm today (22.03.2020).

After much thought and discussion today we have decided to close the fishery and shop until further notice. We will reassess this decision next month and keep you all updated.

We value our customers and hard working team of staff, so we want to keep them safe. Although fishing is an outdoor sport the government are advising against non essential travel and we feel that although we love to accommodate you at the fishery we want to reduce the risk of exposure to and spread of the covid 19 virus.

Our staff and customers have families and children and we must all work together at this difficult time to ensure we remain healthy so we can enjoy our fishing again when we reopen after this situation is resolved.

If you have a booking within the next month, we will contact you to ensure you are aware of our closure and we will refund any deposits you may have paid.

Let's do this and stop the spread! Please stay safe and healthy and see you on the other side of this!

Please keep in contact with us as things could change in the near future.

Thank you for your continued support, Stu, Bex and Nick.

20lb win for Brian Cant in Charity Silver Fish Challenge

The Second Ken Brett Silver Fish Challenge in Aid of St Elizabeth Hospice was held at Suffolk Water Park on Wednesday 21st November 2018.  The match was two months later than last year so the weather was cold yet sunny to start with for the Charity Match and raffle, held to raise money for the hospice.  30 anglers fished in total, another great turn out for a weekday match.  Suffolk Water Park donated Match Lake 1 and the Traditional Lake this year for the event with a proportion of proceeds going to charity.  In total just over £450 was raised for the charity on the day and we're still collecting!

The Ken Brett Silverfish Challenge was set up by Ken Brett, who was cared for by the St Elizabeth Hospice. Ken was a keen fisherman and following his time in the hospice, wanted to hold a Silver Fish event to help raise funds for the hospice.  His hospice nurse Martin Russell has fished both matches, last year and this year.  Unfortunately Ken was taken into hospital on the day of the 1st match in 2017 and he sadly passed away.

Suffolk Water Park will continue his Silverfish Challenge on an annual basis in his memory and to raise much needed funds for the St Elizabeth Hospice.
