Suffolk Water Park will be closed from 5pm today (22.03.2020).

After much thought and discussion today we have decided to close the fishery and shop until further notice. We will reassess this decision next month and keep you all updated.

We value our customers and hard working team of staff, so we want to keep them safe. Although fishing is an outdoor sport the government are advising against non essential travel and we feel that although we love to accommodate you at the fishery we want to reduce the risk of exposure to and spread of the covid 19 virus.

Our staff and customers have families and children and we must all work together at this difficult time to ensure we remain healthy so we can enjoy our fishing again when we reopen after this situation is resolved.

If you have a booking within the next month, we will contact you to ensure you are aware of our closure and we will refund any deposits you may have paid.

Let's do this and stop the spread! Please stay safe and healthy and see you on the other side of this!

Please keep in contact with us as things could change in the near future.

Thank you for your continued support, Stu, Bex and Nick.

Next Generation 24 Hour Carp Match

Suffolk Water Park held a Junior/ Adult Pairs Competition on Tuesday 8th August over 24 hours on the Traditional Lake, which was a great success with lots of Carp caught throughout!

Stuart said, “Suffolk Water Park wants to encourage the Next Generation into fishing and what better way to lead the way is there, to be guided through by mentors and those who already have experience in angling?  The event was designed to be fun and informative.  I think we’ve achieved that, as everyone has enjoyed themselves and have expressed that they would love to take part in another event such as this one! So watch this space!”

Mike Hall from NASH came along to represent the Tackle Company and yet again came along with some amazing goodie bags with loads of Terminal Tackle for each participant!  Mike was also on hand to help and advise anglers, giving them tips and advice. In addition to this, as part of the ticket, Stuart brought everyone Bacon Baps from the Waterfront Café to their Bivvies!

There were some great weights including the biggest overall weight from Paul and his son Mickey Ayling (10 yrs old) who won the Prize for landing 6 Carp to 56lb 4oz during the 24 hours! They won a bag of NASH goodies plus a 24 hour fishing Voucher for two people.
